With such rapid changes coming in MVAT act along with the state budget, keeping up-to date for all of us has become a herculean task.
Upon that, State government has also published bill of its ambitious “Amnesty Scheme” which is applicable to majority of state laws, covering 11 statutory acts. The Act is yet to come up along with its rule. However, we get a fair idea about this scheme to decide if we want opt for it or not.
I have tried to explain all the provisions of state budget related to MVAT act and also the amnesty scheme in a very simply manner with respect to changes in its sections and rules in the below attached PDF files.
This material is the same which I have presented to joint seminar of “Tax Practitioners Association of Aurangabad” and “Aurangabad Branch of WIRC” on study meets for MVAT amendments and Amnesty scheme and returns filing.
